Add Foreground Interest

For a quick way of improving your snapshots and turning them into photographic images – think about your foreground! For instance, if you are on a beach and taking a sunset shot, look around for some interesting foreground! You may find a set of footprints to use as lead in lines to the main subject. Or perhaps there is a clump of seaweed or beach rocks you could use to add interest to your image.

Carry a binliner in your camera bag! That way, you can get down on the ground to increase the interest in your angle of view. Not all photos are taken from eye level…
